My favourite maternity sessions are slow and intimate, shot in the privacy of your home. I find that at-home maternity sessions allow us to draw out the beauty, vulnerability and strength of an expectant mother in the most natural and authentic way. I love the way they invite us to highlight the connection between two people as they anticipate the joy of parenthood. Holding your maternity session at home also lets us include little details about your preparations for your baby's arrival, whether that be the painting of a nursery, the building of a crib or preparing a drawer full of wee baby clothes. It's a beautiful way to show your children how much they were loved even before they were born.

If you'd rather be out in nature or have little ones who need to move, we can take your maternity session outside. If young children are taking part, we treat it as a hybrid maternity-family session. In these, we mix images of the expectant parents with images of the family together, painting a picture of the your life before your family added its newest, tiniest member.
